Travelling Abroad?
Prior to travelling it is important you find out whether you will need any vaccinations for the country or area that you will be visiting. The following websites will assist you. Furthermore, on completing the online travel form (link below) one of our clinical team will contact you to inform you of what vaccinations are required for your particular destination. This information can also be found on the websites below.
The practice offers travel advice and vaccines that are available free on the NHS. These are listed below:
- Polio (given as the combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio)
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Tetanus
- Cholera (We can prescribe but a fee will be payable to the chemist on collection of prescription)
We DO NOT provide the following vaccines:
- Hepatitis B
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Meningitis
- Yellow Fever
- Rabies
- Tick-borne encephalitis
- Tuberculosis (TB)
These vaccines can be obtained from a Travel Clinic. This service is offered by most large retail Pharmacies.

ALL travel vaccines appointments MUST be requested 8 weeks prior to your travel date after you have completed and submitted a travel questionnaire. Appointments for travel vaccines of
8 weeks or less can not be guaranteed.
